WELDING| CLASS A DRIVERS LIC.

IT/LOW VOLTAGE| CNA

We're always looking for ways to enhance and invest in our student population. We continue to develop additional pathways to explore the many interests and industries that surround our region.

WELDING

Welding is a valuable skill to many sectors, including construction, energy efficiency, manufacturing, oil and gas. For welders who choose to freelance their skills and make themselves available to different projects, the opportunities for employment are vast.

​

Earn up to Three (3) welding certificates:

  • Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)

  • Gas Metal Gas Welding (GMGW/MIG)

  • Gas Tungsten Arch Welding (GTAW/TIG)

​

NO COST PROGRAM: All materials, PPE and equipment will be provided at no financial cost to students.

​

PROGRAM DURATION:

  • 2 days/week at 3 hours/day

  • Monday - Friday

  • 5pm-7pm

​

ELIGIBILITY:

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Sacramento Region Resident

  • Graduate of MC3 Pre-Apprenticeship program

​

CLASS A DRIVER'S LICENSE

There are two types of Class A licenses in California. The Class A Commercial license allows you to drive any legal combination of vehicles under Class B and Class C. The Class A noncommercial license allows you to drive any vehicle under Class C and any housecar over 40 feet but not over 45 feet.​

NO COST PROGRAM: All materials, PPE and equipment will be provided at no financial cost to students.

PROGRAM DURATION:

  • 5 days/week at 3 hours/day

  • Monday - Friday

  • 5pm-7pm

ELIGIBILITY:

  • 18 years of age or older

PROFESSIONAL MANAGED SERVICES TECHNICIAN PROGRAM​

Are you interested in the Electrical and IT fields? Our Professional Managed Service Technician Training Program focuses on low voltage telecommunications, cabling, technical client support, systems monitoring and troubleshooting. This training will allow you to be employable in both electrical and digital/technical industries.

 

Experience Required: None

​

Preferred Qualifications: demonstrated punctuality and consistent attendance, strong math skills, timely assignment completion, Electrician trade interest

Certified Nursing Assistants are indispensable in healthcare, aiding patients with daily tasks, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring their comfort. By bridging the gap between patients and medical teams, CNAs provide essential care and support. 

 

PWT partner, TheIntentionalGroup CNA classes provide an exceptional curriculum meticulously crafted to equip students with the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their journey toward CNA certification. This all-encompassing program covers an extensive array of subjects, including patient care, medical terminology, infection control, vital signs monitoring, and more. Combining theoretical instruction with hands-on training, our curriculum effectively prepares students for the challenges and requirements of the healthcare industry, ensuring they are thoroughly ready to pursue CNA certification and their future roles.
